The book design is complete! Book Designer Lauren Gallegos and I spent this summer putting all of the book components together, to include the text, illustrations, squiggle art, front and back matter, and all of the other elements that finalize the book. Everything turned out beautiful, but I'll let you see for yourselves. Check out the first four finished spreads in all their glory:

So, what's next? Lauren recently finished assembling the various files that I need to submit to the local printer and multiple print-on-demand services. Now, it's my job to upload the files, troubleshoot any issues, and order proof copies for review. Once all proofs pass inspection, it will be time to press "Publish" and celebrate this book's long-awaited birthday. This is the final stretch of the book-making process, and I'm still on track for an October launch! 🙌
