All sketches are complete! The interior and cover sketches are done, and Illustrator Polina Gortman is working hard to transform the sketches into final, colored artwork. Here is a look at the first several sketches from the book:
The final art is rolling in, and it's beautiful! Here's a look at the first three finished spreads:
Aren't they gorgeous?! Polina has done an excellent job of bringing this new Squiggleville adventure to life! 🙌
So, what's next? Polina is busy converting the interior sketches to final art, a process that should wrap-up in late May. In addition, she recently finished the book's cover art, which is revealed in my latest blog.
As for me, I will spend the next month uploading public squiggle art for inclusion in the book and preparing materials for the book design phase, which should commence in late May or early June.
