Many Little Squiggles
One Little Squiggle has big creative potential, but...
What if the squiggle becomes something new?
What if it's longer, or shorter, or blue?
What if it's yellow or purple, or brown?
What if it's sideways or upside down?
When one little squiggle becomes something new,
imagine the doodle fun waiting for you!
Follow two young kids with big imaginations as they set off to Squiggleville, an imaginary place where they join a tea party, visit a petting zoo and amusement park, and even star in a parade. Everywhere they go, they discover new squiggles, and they make squiggly sketches to document it all. Then, drawing inspiration from their adventures, the kids work together to create a dazzling squiggle art masterpiece for all of Squiggleville to enjoy.
With its catchy, rhyming text, beautiful illustrations, one-of-a-kind squiggle art made by real kids, and uplifting message about the incredible power of human creativity, Many Little Squiggles inspires artists of all ages to think outside the box and make their own squiggle doodles.
Now, it's your turn. Go on- get creative!

Check out the first four spreads of the finished book below:
Aren't they amazing?! I LOVE how everything turned out! Illustrator Polina Gortman and Book Designer Lauren Gallegos did an excellent job of bringing my latest Squiggleville adventure to life! 🙌
To see how these four spreads evolved during the writing, editing, illustration, and book design phases of the project, check out this blog article.
Here's a picture of me proudly holding the proof copies when they finally arrived:
I ordered ~200 special edition hardcover copies of the book from a printing company here in Omaha, and this is what the books looked like upon arrival:
Once they arrived, I got to work autographing and organizing the books for the launch. What a process! Then the book was finally ready to publish! Woot Woot! 😁👍
