The book is complete! This summer, Illustrator Polina Gortman, Book Designer Lauren Gallegos, and I collaborated to put all of the book components together, to include the text, illustrations, squiggle art, front and back matter, and all of the other elements that finalize the book. Everything turned out beautiful, but I'll let you see for yourselves. Check out the first four finished spreads in all their glory:

The proof copies have arrived! I've uploaded all of the book files to the various printers and print-on-demand services that I use, and I've ordered proof copies from each company. Over the last three weeks, all of the proof copies have arrived, and they are gorgeous! Check them out below:
So, what's next? All proof copies have passed inspection, so now it's finally time to order author copies, press "Publish," and celebrate this book's long-awaited birthday. We're SO close to wrapping-up this project! 👍
